<p>A method and terminal for receiving a digital broadcast and managing preferred channels are provided, by which preferred channel information may be set to a random number for registration according to a user's selection. The present invention includes displaying a menu for preferred channel management according to a signal provided via a signal input device, displaying a preferred channel registration menu in a table format including a plurality of cells if a menu for preferred channel registration is selected, and mapping a number indicated by a cell to which a pointer is moved by a user to currently viewed channel information and storing the mapped information in memory.</p> |
