<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device configured to determine whether to execute data regeneration upon execution of calibration to improve printing efficiency, and to provide a printing system. <P>SOLUTION: The image processing device includes: a print image data generation part 23 for generating print image data by use of density correction information for correcting image density; a calibration execution part 26 for updating the density correction information; and a data regeneration determining part 27 that compares, when calibration is executed during printing the print image data and the print processing is interrupted, the non-updated density correction information used for generating the print image data with the density correction information updated by the calibration, to determine whether to regenerate the print image data. When the data regeneration determining part determines that there is no need to regenerate the print image data, the interrupted print processing for the print image data is resumed on the basis of the print image data using the non-updated density correction information, without regenerating the print image data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
