<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical communication device capable of preventing intrusion of dust or the like by blocking the inside of a casing. <P>SOLUTION: A circuit board 2 with a light guide 3 embedded therein is sandwiched and fixed between the bottom 11 and the lid 12a of a casing 1. An optical communication module 5 mounted on the circuit board 2 is capable of transmission and reception of an optical signal via the light guide 3. The constitution of sandwiching and fixing the circuit board 2 between the bottom 11 and the lid 12 facilitates blocking the inside of the casing 1, which prevents the intrusion of dust or the like into the inside from a place of the casing 1 for exposing the circuit board 2 therefrom. Furthermore, on the surfaces of the circuit board 2, GND wiring patterns 22 are provided at portions which are brought into contact with the casing 1 when sandwiched between the bottom 11 and the lid 12, which suppresses leakage of noise to the outside of the casing 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
