The cocking apparatus according to an aspect may include an input part which receives a plate warming mode command; and a microwave heating part which emits microwave to at least one plate placed in a cooking room in the cooking apparatus; and a control part which controls at least one from the operation time of the microwave heating part and the intensity of the microwave emitted by the microwave heating part, when the plate warming mode command is received.
