<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an operation from a host device using any OS and to increase versatility and reliability of a system. <P>SOLUTION: A print processing system LS comprises: an external terminal 400, a USB port and a printer 1 having a FLASH ROM including a disk area capable of recognizing the external terminal 400 connected to the USB port as a removable drive. The external terminal 400 generates a command file of a format unique to the printer 1, to which a printing operation is executable by the printer 1, and writes at least one generated command file in the disk area recognized as the removable file drive. The printer 1 detects the at least one command file written in the disk area, and triggered by a satisfaction of a predetermined condition, analyzes the detected at least one command file so as to execute the corresponding printing operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
