PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump system and a control method of the pump system, which can improve fuel economy while securing a discharge rate in a pump part in which the inherent discharge rate is changed.SOLUTION: A pump system 1 comprises: a pump part 5 having a first pump 51 and a second pump 52 which are provided in parallel to each other and are connected to a line pressure oil passage 101; a first power transmission part 61 transmitting power of an engine 2 to the first pump 51; a second power transmission part 62 transmitting power of a M/G 4 to the second pump 52; and a dog clutch 63 which is provided in the first power transmission part 61 and the second power transmission part 62 and changes power to be transmitted to the second pimp 52 between a case of transmitting the power of the M/G 4 to the second pump 52 and a case of transmitting the power of the engine 2 to the second pump 52.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
