PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a turn of a detent pin caused by abutment on a shift lock member.SOLUTION: In a shift device for a vehicle, at the other end of a side opposite to one end of a detent pin 30 which abuts on a shift lock link 56 with a fitting protrusion 42 sandwiched therebetween, a support protrusion 43 which abuts on a recessed groove 44 of a support part 36 for fixing a lever pipe 14, and limits an inclination caused by the abutment of the shift lock link 56 and the detent pin 30 is protrusively formed at a base end side of the lever pipe 14. Therefore, when a knob button is operated in a state that a pedal-in operation of a brake is not performed, a reaction force in a direction opposite to the moment which is imparted from an operation force of the knob button is imparted to the detent pin 30 from an inner wall face of the recessed groove 44 on which the support protrusion 43 abuts with an abutment position with the shift lock link 56 as a pivot. By this constitution, a turn of the detent pin 30 caused by the abutment with the shift lock link 56 is suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 |
