<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent filter material high in adsorptivity, low in pressure drop and capable of storing it by heating electrically by uniformly keeping very high specific surface area of an activated carbon/carbon composite material at the whole sheet and to provide its production method. SOLUTION: The filter material is comprised of the activated carbon/carbon composite material being the composite material of the activated carbon and the carbon, and the activated carbon is comprised of activated carbon powder or activated carbon fiber, and the carbon is formed by carbonizing thermosetting resin, and the density of the activated carbon/carbon composite material is 0.1-0.6 g/cm3, and its thickness is 0.05-2.0 mm, and its electric resistivity is 0.05-10.0Ω/cm and its specific surface area is >=500 m2/g.</p> |
