摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the accuracy of thickness in the tail end part of a rolled stock by deciding the command of screw-down location at the time of controlling the thickness at the tail end using measured thickness deviation on the outlet side of a finishing stand in the thickness control at the tail end. SOLUTION: By storing the thickness deviation measured with a thickness gage 30 on the outlet side of the finishing stand in a storage device 31 and inputting the measured thickness deviation in-which is stored in the storage unit 31 to a thickness increment correcting arithmetic unit 32 to the thickness increment just under the n-th which is generated when the tail end of the rolled stock 29 is passed through the (n-1)th stand, the amount of correction of in-crease is determined. The increment of thickness which is corrected by this amount of correction is inputted to a screw-down location command arithmetic units 19-23 for the tail end, the command of screw-down location is determined and thickness control at the tail end is executed using an automatic screw-down location controllers 7-12.</p>
