摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase oxygen dissolving efficiency and to save blower capacity and the consumption of electric power by providing an air diffusion pipe in an aeration tank, a pump for sucking water in the aeration tank and supplying the sucked water to the air diffusion pipe, a blower for supplying air to the suction side and a in-line mixer in the discharge side. SOLUTION: A plurality of air diffusion pipes 2 are arranged in the aeration tank 1. An auxiliary chamber 1a is formed in the aeration tank 1, its bottom is connected to the suction side of the pump 5 with a pipeline 4 and the discharge side is connected to the air diffusion pipe 2 through an in-line mixer 6, and the blower 3 is connected to the pipe line 4. Air is supplied from the blower 3 through the air diffusion pipe 2 and discharged from the tip part of air diffusion pipe 2 as air bubbles to supply oxygen into waste water to oxidize the waste water. The in-line mixer 6 is provided with a plurality of spiral parts 6b in its inside 6a. The fluid flowing in a pipe 6a is devided into two every time being passed through the spiral parts 6b and the direction of the flow is changed from the central part to the wall surface and from the wall surface to the central part.
