<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-stage elongation cylinder allowing lessening of the largest compressed length and also prolongation of the elongation stroke, using hydraulic cylinders having the same diameter, capable of generating a long stroke in accordance with the number of cylinders in coupling, managing with less hydraulic oil in use, and embodying in a simple structure to lead to easy installing works and/or disassembling operations. SOLUTION: A multi-stage elongation cylinder is configured so that hydraulic cylinders 11, 12, 13 consisting of a cylinder 16 and piston rods 15 and 17 inserted movably in the cylinder 16 through a piston 18 are coupled in a plurality of parallel rows through brackets 14a and 14b. Each bracket is coupled with the tip of the piston rod of the lower stage cylinder and the upper part of the upper stage cylinder.</p> |
