PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve sealing property of an aggregated portion of three or more parts difficult to be sealed by only a liquid gasket by filling a gap of a cylinder block, a cylinder head and a cylinder head gasket, in a seal structure of an internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: A groove part is formed at a portion corresponding to the cylinder head gasket in a chain cover. In the groove part, an elastic member which is disposed between the cylinder block and the cylinder head and is abutted on the cylinder head gasket is provided.
