METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DYEING USING HIGH-FREQUENCY IRRADIATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To readily maintain the dyeing time and dye a material to be dyed in a shorter time than a conventional dyeing time when the material to be dyed is dyed. SOLUTION: The constitution of this apparatus for dyeing comprises a high- frequency generating means 6 installed for feeding a high-frequency power to a heating chamber 2 housing a material 9 to be dyed which contains a dye liquor and a vessel 8 provided for holding the material 9 to be dyed so as to irradiate the material 9 to be dyed in a state thereof held in a gas without the dye liquor with the high frequency. Since the specific heat of the material 9 to be dyed is small by the constitution, the temperature control of the material 9 to be dyed can readily and delicately be carried out by the high-frequency irradiation with easy regulation of output and the material 9 to be dyed is easily permeated with the dye liquor by the high-frequency irradiation, the dyeing time can be shortened.
