摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize deterioration of an electrode catalyst in a fuel cell system with effect while taking account of both the electrode catalyst deterioration amount due to the number of times of voltage variation of a fuel cell during intermittent operation, and the electrode catalyst deterioration amount corresponding to the voltage variation amount of the fuel cell during intermittent operation. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel cell system 1 performs air supply from an air supply device 31 intermittently when the output requested from a load device is equal to or lower than a predetermined threshold, and can set a plurality of upper and lower limit voltage values of voltage variation of a fuel cell 2 during the intermittent operation. A controller 6 sets the upper and lower limit voltage values so as to change depending on the duration of intermittent operation thus minimizing the electrode catalyst deterioration amount, by using a deterioration characteristics map having a deterioration characteristic curve indicating the correlation of the duration of intermittent operation and the electrode catalyst deterioration amount of the fuel cell 2 for every upper and lower limit voltage value, and performs intermittent operation with the upper and lower limit voltage values thus set. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
