<p>A method for displaying caller information intelligently and a mobile communication system thereof are provided to enable a receiver to catch location information for a caller's local number and telephone exchange number beforehand so that the receiver can selectively receive calling signals. A mobile terminal comprises a program memory(202), a key input part(204), an LCD part(206), a data storage part(208), a mode state storage part(210), a phone number storage part(212), a subscriber information storage part(214), a microprocessor(216), a DSP(218), a baseband conversion part(220), a speaker(222), a microphone(224), an antenna(226), and an RF signal processing part(228). The program memory(202) stores a telephony program for reading a phone number containing a network identification number or a local number from the phone number storage part(212), executing a wireless call connection to the phone number, and making a wireless phone call when a call connection request command is inputted with a phone number. The phone number storage part(212) stores names and associated phone numbers, inputted by a user, as data. In this case, the phone numbers contain network identification numbers or local numbers.</p> |
