The invention relates to harvesting equipment, in particular a harvesting attachment (14) for agricultural harvesting machines (10) used to gather and transport cereals, in particular maize, said attachment being displaced across a field during the harvesting process in the direction of travel. The attachment comprises a central part (36), a first lateral part (32) and a second lateral part (34), which are hinged on either side of the central part (36) so that they can pivot between a working position and a transport position about a first and a second axis (38, 40) that extend horizontally and run in the direction of travel. In the working position the central part (36) and the lateral parts (32, 34) comprise adjacent mowing and transport elements (16, 18, 20) and in the transport position the mowing and transport elements (16, 20) of the lateral parts (32, 34) are located above the mowing and transport parts (18) of the central part (36). The invention is characterised in that the first axis (38) runs at a first height, in such a way that in the transport position the first lateral part (32) is located approximately horizontally above the central part (36) and that the second axis (40) runs at a second height, in such a way that in the transport position the second lateral part (34) runs approximately horizontally above the first lateral part (32). |
