METHOD FOR INFORMING COLORING STATE WHEN OPERATION STATE CHANGES IN PRINTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for informing a coloring state when an operation state changes in a printer including a control computer, and informing a press operator that printed matter is vendible meeting at least one specific quality standard set beforehand.

SOLUTION: The method includes: a step of setting a target color density DVSollwith respect to a printing job; a step of storing the setting in the control computer 5; a step of calculating an actual color density DVIstby the control computer 5 based on an actual state when operating the printer 1; a step of comparing the actual color density DVIstand the target color density DVSollin the control computer 5; and a step of transmitting a first signal by the control computer 5 when the actual color density DVIstis near the target color density DVSollwithin a tolerable range band the center of which is the target color density DVSollstored in the control computer 5.
