<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative electrode for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery capable of being impregnated with an electrolytic solution excellently, and a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery including the negative electrode. <P>SOLUTION: In the negative electrode for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, a paste that contains a solvent, and graphite particles 25 and a binder dispersed therein, is applied to a negative electrode collector 21, and the layer surfaces of the graphite particles 25 are in a standing position with respect to the surface of the negative electrode collector 21. The graphite particles 25 have a high edge surface ratio with a Raman value of 0.5 or greater, and the Raman value is in the range of 0.5 to 0.95, and the aspect ratio is in the range of 1.5 to 5.0. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
