<p>The present invention relates to drug combinations and pharmaceutical compositions for treating cancer such as non-small cell lung carcinoma, said combination comprising (1) at least one substituted-diaryl urea such as BAY 43-9006, (2) at least one taxane such as Paclitaxel (Taxol(RTM)), Docetaxel (Taxotere(RTM)) and Abraxane(RTM) and (3) at least one platinum complex antineoplastic nucleic acid binding agent such as carboplatin (Paraplatin(RTM)), oxaplatin (Eloxatin(RTM)) and cisplatin (Platinol(RTM)), where any of these components can be present in the form of a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or other derivative thereof.</p> |
