ELECTRODE FOR NONAQUEOUS ELECTROLYTE BATTERY, NONAQUEOUS ELECTROLYTE BATTERY, AND ELECTRIC VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode for a nonaqueous electrolyte battery and a nonaqueous electrolyte battery, excellent in adhesion between an electrode layer and a collector, and capable of improving electric charge and discharge cycle characteristics.

SOLUTION: The electrode for a nonaqueous electrolyte battery comprises a collector and an electrode layer containing an active material, and the electrode layer is carried in the collector. The electrode layer contains the active material and a solid electrolyte containing phosphorus. The collector contains a phosphorus containing layer containing phosphorus and a metal element which makes an alloy with phosphorus on at least part of a surface contacting with the electrode layer, and is formed with a material containing the metal element.
