PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift lever device enabling reduction of the number of parts and reduction of manufacturing cost by further simplifying a shift lock structure. SOLUTION: When a shift lever body 22 is located at a position except a parking position, a lock lever projection 43 is held on a lever sliding surface 27a, while locating a lock lever 40 at a lock releasing position. When the shift lever body 22 is moved to the parking position, the lock lever projection 43 is fitted into a fitting hole 28, the lock lever 40 is displaced to a lock position, and thereby the lock lever 40 is engaged to a shift lock engaging part 23b of an operation rod 23. When the operation of the brake is detected at the parking position, a driving means 50 is worked, the lock lever 40 is displaced to a lock releasing position, and thereby the engagement of the lock lever 40 to the shift lock engaging part 23b of the operation rod 23 is released.
