PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely prevent vertical wrinkles from being generated at a rolled material in rolling a thin sheet. SOLUTION: An intermediate roll mechanism 1 is arranged at the winding device 6 and/or the winding off device 5 of a rolling mill 2. The intermediate roll mechanism 1 allows an intermediate roll 13 to contact with the rolled material 3 from the opposite surface of the side on which the rolled material 3 contacts with a winding reel. In addition, a moving means 14 is configured to allow the surface of the rolled material 3 wound around the winding reel not to be in contact with the intermediate roll 13 and to move the intermediate roll 13 to be separated from the surface of the rolled material 3 with a predetermined distance.
