OIL/WATER SEPARATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil/water separator capable of efficiently separating mixed liquid of oil and water into oil and water. SOLUTION: The oil/water separator is provided with: a first tank; a feed pipe feeding the mixed liquid of oil and water to the first tank; a second tank having a weir for overflowing liquid and communicated with a lower part of the first tank; a third tank storing liquid overflowing from the weir of the second tank; an oil receiver recovering oil floating up to the liquid level of the first tank; and a fourth tank receiving the oil recovered by the oil receiver. The feed pipe is opened in the first tank at a position lower than the height of the weir of the second tank. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
