FIELD: measuring technology. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to precision instrument engineering and can be used in manufacturing of electrostatic gyroscopes. Displaying isolated elastic pressure seal of a vacuum chamber of the electrostatic gyroscope used for de-electrifying of a rotor of the gyroscope before weighing is necessary to ensure contact of the rotor and pressure seal before weighing and to eliminate preventing the rotor rotation. Displaying is enabled by measuring a capacity between the pressure seal and one electrodes of the rotor suspension in different positions of the vacuum chamber relative to the axis that is perpendicular to the pressure seal axis, and by changing the position of the pressure seal apex relative to the internal surface of the vacuum chamber by position measurement results. ^ EFFECT: invention allows for displaying the pressure seal precisely without application of a measuring circuit of the actual dimensions of the rotor and details of the vacuum chamber. ^ 2 dwg
