PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker, taking into consideration usability of users and safety by improving a control method of engaging means of a lid opening mechanism.SOLUTION: The rice cooker includes a rice cooker body, a pot housed in the rice cooker body, a pot heating device for heating the pot, a lid body mounted on the rice cooker body for freely openably and closably covering an upper opening part of the pot, a lid opening device for opening the lid, and lid opening means for regulating operation of the lid opening device. The lid opening means disables the lid opening device after a prescribed time passes from a start of rice cooking or after preheating process is completed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10 |
