1. An optical computing device, comprising:
electromagnetic radiation that optically interacts with a sample to produce sample-interacted light; an Integrated Computational Element (“ICE”) positioned to optically interact with the sample-interacted light at a first light incidence angle to thereby produce a first optically-interacted light that corresponds to a first chemical system having one or more components;
a mechanism to change the first light incidence angle to a second light incidence angle to thereby produce a second optically-interacted light that corresponds to a second chemical system having one or more components; and an optical transducer positioned to receive the first and second optically-interacted lights to thereby generate signals that are utilized to determine characteristics of the sample. |
