Online game system 110 for providing at least one recommendation in an online game for a single user of a plurality of users of the online game. The recommendation is provided by ranking, based on: desirability of users' 200 past in-game behaviour; mutually preferred sets of sequences of in-game activities previously carried out by the users 200; and sets of sequences of in-game activities available at locations within the online game. A recommendation is provided to the single user based on the ranking. The desirability of users 200 past behaviour may comprise time in-game or spend in-game by the plurality of users. The recommendation may comprise a location for the user to go to in-game or an activity for the user to carry out in-game. The game may be a massively multi-player online role playing game (MMORPG). A method of providing recommendations to the single user is also disclosed. |
