STORAGE CONTAINER FOR THIN LITHIUM AIR BATTERY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage container for a thin lithium air battery which inhibits an explosive reaction (firing) of an electrolytic solution including a lithium metal and lithium ions and improves the safety.

SOLUTION: A storage container for a thin lithium air battery 1001 includes a storage chamber 201 storing a thin lithium air battery 101 and has: a first gas pipe 202B and a second gas pipe 202D which communicate with the storage chamber 201; a third gas pipe 202A and a fourth gas pipe 202C which communicate with the thin lithium air battery 101 stored in the storage chamber 201; and a valve 204C opening and closing thereby controlling the communication between the third gas pipe 202A and the storage chamber 201. An inert gas supply source is attached to the first gas pipe 202B, and an air or oxygen gas supply source is attached to the third gas pipe 202A. The above object is attained by using the storage container for the thin lithium air battery 1001.
