PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove the starting failures for a brushless motor. SOLUTION: A drive controller 12 is equipped with an inverter circuit 16 which has a plurality of switching elements 17a-17f for applying currents in order to plural phases of the windings 13U, 13V, and 13W that the brushless motor has, a position detector 24 which obtains positional information by detecting the zero-cross point of the induced voltage for each phase of winding, and a control circuit 20. The control circuit 20 makes a current application signal where the duty ratio is controlled, based on this PWM signal and the commutation timing is decided based on the positional information, and performs the controls so that it makes the commutation time a leading phase, for the commutation reference angle which is obtained by shifting phase by a specified phase angle from the detected zero-cross point, when accelerating the velocity from the start of the brushless motor 11 to the specified rotation velocity. |
