PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a WC-Co-base cemented carbide produced from raw materials prepared through tungsten carbine powders which are separately formed by the conventional method, that is, by carburizing tungsten oxide having tungsten metal powder or powder of carbon and cobalt. SOLUTION: This cemented carbide is produced from a Co powder, a grain growth inhibitor, and a WC powder which is sufficiently deagglomerated and is easy of deagglomeration. The Co powder has a spherical shape which is sufficiently deagglomerated and easy of deagglomeration and also has an average particle size equal to or smaller than the average diameter of the WC powder. The metal part of the grain growth inhibitor is added as a part of a binder layer, that is, the inhibitor is contained in the Co powder and alloyed with it. |
