PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an enlarged ship capable of reducing the increase in the resistance from water during navigating, in particular the resistance in high waves, and having a stem capable of being easily manufactured. SOLUTION: The angleγof the line (a) connecting a point E on the hull center line to an intersection D with a vertical plane B-B at the position backward of the horizontal distance C (2%×LOA) measured from a forward end of a hull to be measured from the hull center line on every water line on the stem at the deepest draft forward of FP is set to satisfy the inequalities of 0 deg.<γ<50 deg.. Accordingly, the stem part can be pointed forward as much as possible the wave reflection and wave collapse phenomenon forward of the stem can be mitigated, and the increase in the resistance in high waves can be reduced. The ratio of the horizontal distance F between the FP and the stem forward end to the total length LOA is set satisfy the inequalities of F/LOA<=0.02, the stem on the deepest draft and a stem bulb under the water level are connected to each other by a smooth curved surface, and therefore, the shape of the stem is not largely changed around the deepest draft, and the stem can be easily manufactured.
