WINDING CORE OF STRING BODY AND MANUFACTURE OF ELECTRIC CABLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve feeding property of a string body from a winding core. SOLUTION: In a manufacturing method a multiconductor electric cable by interposing a string body fed from a hollow winding core 10 between a plurality of insulated wire cores, the winding core 10 having a tapered internal peripheral surface 10A is used as a supply source of the string body. The string body is fed from a large diameter side of the tapered internal surface 10A. An angleθformed by a center line AB of the winding core 10 and a normal line L of the tapered internal peripheral surface 10A is set to 0.5 deg.<=θ<30 deg., more preferably, 1 deg.<=θ<15 deg..
