PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a braking device capable of maintaining a favorable feeling in a braking operation by preventing an increase in a manipulated variable of a brake lever. SOLUTION: The braking device 1 is provided with a braking mechanism feeding oil pressure generated by a master cylinder 2 to a caliper mechanism 8 via an oil pressure passage and generating a braking force, and an ABS mechanism 5 relieving the oil pressure to a storage part 13 and returning hydraulic oil of the storage part 13 to a master cylinder 2 side of the oil pressure passage. A reverse flow allowing means 22d allowing sucking of the hydraulic oil by a pump from the master cylinder 2 side is provided on a return pump mechanism 14 sucking the hydraulic oil of the storage part 13 side by the pump and returning it to the master cylinder 2 side.
