PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a height lock device that can hold a height at a constant height even when a live load suddenly increases or decreases in a cargo handling operation. SOLUTION: The height lock device for preventing a height fluctuation in a cargo handling operation in a transportation vehicle equipped with an air suspension mounts a vertically telescopic jack device 13 on a frame 1, and comprises a controller for control capable of extending the jack device 13 in a cargo handling operation until a tip is in pressure contact with an axle 3 and then bleeding an air bellows of the air suspension of working air to thus transfer the load of a vehicle body to the jack device 13.
