PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning agent containing inorganic phosphoric acids, amines and alcohols and adapted to a plastic lens molding retaining mold. SOLUTION: By cleaning the plastic lens molding retaining mold by the cleaning agent of this invention, the errosion of a glass mold can be suppressed without damaging the cleaning properties of the cleaning agent. In addition, since the liquidity of the cleaning agent is neutral, the cleaning agent contributes not only to the safety of work and the enhancement of preservation of the environment but also to the sharp reduction of the manufacturing cost of the plastic lens.
