Measuring results processing of angle and distance measuring systems

The system has a controller and an encoder for recording absolute measured values. A bus system has a serial interface connected between the encoder and a receiver. The measured values are transferred from the encoder through the serial interface to the receiver and are stored temporarily in the receiver. From the receiver the measured values are continuously transferred to the controller. An independent claim is included for a method of operating a measuring system.
