The closing system for a sliding door (1) blocking an opening in a wall (2) comprises driving means (4) and sliding means. The sliding means comprises two fixed parallel suspension rails (5,6) offset in a transverse direction to the wall and the door. Castors (7,8) fixed to the door run on the rails. The watertight closing of the door is made by means of a sealing joint (11A) made of a deformable material and fixed on the door perimeter (11).
