PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shutter device that is small and thin, has excellent responsiveness, and obtains a large torque. SOLUTION: In the shutter device 1, when power is supplied to a drive coil in a drive mechanism having outer rotor type stepping motor structure, a ring magnet 31 rotates and three shutter blades 5 rotate around a support shaft 50 in order to perform an opening/closing operation. In this case, the drive mechanism switches the shutter blades from an opened state to a closed state and vice versa by driving a stepping motor at not more than one step. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
