摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device which does nor cause flicker when displaying a still picture, having a quick response speed when displaying a dynamic picture, and having low power consumption. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device comprises: a display part in which a plurality of pixels is arranged two-dimensionally, a plurality of scanning lines is arranged along the plurality of pixels, and also a plurality of signal lines is arranged along the plurality of pixels; a scanning line driver for driving the plurality of scanning lines; a signal line driver for driving the plurality of signal lines; a motion detection circuit for detecting a motion of an image displayed by the liquid crystal display part; and a control circuit for controlling the scanning driver and the signal line driver to perform non-interlace scanning when the motion is detected by the motion detection circuit, and to perform interlace scanning when the motion is not detected by the motion detection circuit.
