<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system capable of eliminating the overloaded state for an air compressor without decreasing the output of a fuel cell vehicle, even when the air compressor that supplies air, which is an oxidant, to a fuel cell is overloaded, when the vehicle equipped with the fuel cell system travels in upland, and to provide a method for controlling the fuel cell system. <P>SOLUTION: When an oxidant gas supplying means is decided as being in the overloaded status, a fuel cell temperature is raised to a predetermined temperature, and a gas excess percentage α is decreased, to reduce the supply amount of oxidant gas supplied from the oxidant gas supply means to the cathode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
