<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain excellent charge/discharge cycle characteristics for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery using propylene carbonate as a nonaqueous solvent of nonaqueous electrolyte solution, and low-crystallinity carbon-coated graphite coating at least part of the surface of the graphite with a low-crystallinity carbon material with a lower crystallinity than graphite as an anode active material. <P>SOLUTION: For the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery with a cathode 1, an anode 2, and nonaqueous electrolyte solution with electrolyte dissolved in a nonaqueous solvent, low-crystallinity carbon-coated graphite with at least part of the surface of graphite particles coated with a low-crystallinity carbon material of lower crystallinity than graphite is used as an anode active material in the anode, a mixture solvent containing propylene carbonate and chained carbonate as the nonaqueous solvent of the nonaqueous electrolyte solution is used, and lithium salt with an oxalate complex as anion is made contained in the nonaqueous electrolyte solution. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
