PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a diploid arming yeast stably holding a protein presented to a cell surface layer even in a proliferation process, to provide the arming yeast obtained by the method and to provide a method for producing a polyester polyol using the arming yeast. SOLUTION: The method for producing the diploid arming yeast comprises carrying out cell fusion between an a haploid cell arming yeast and anαhaploid cell arming yeast.
