PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus in which kinds of imaging devices to be connected to an imaging apparatus body can be increased and the versatility of the imaging apparatus body can be enhanced. SOLUTION: In the imaging apparatus, a lens unit 100 is attachable and detachable to and from the imaging apparatus body 111 and interchangeable. The lens unit 100 has a photographing optical system, the imaging device for converting an object image to an electric signal, an imaging device drive part, a signal processing part for converting an output signal from the imaging device to a digital signal, and a connection part 109 for connecting the imaging apparatus body 111. The imaging apparatus body 111 has a connection part 121 for connecting the lens unit 100, a power source 124, voltage supply lines 123a-123d for supplying voltages to an imaging circuit of the lens unit 100, and a voltage generation circuit 123 for generating an output voltage to be supplied to the voltage supply lines on the basis of the power source 124.
