PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermistor element capable of providing an appropriate resistance value within a temperature range of -40 to 900°C, along with a temperature sensor using the same, and a method of manufacturing the thermistor element. SOLUTION: A thermistor element 10 includes a thermistor element body 1 made from a conductive oxide baked body whose B constant is B (-40 to 900)=2.00×10<SP>3</SP>to 3.00×10<SP>3</SP>K, a first electrode wire 2 comprising a first electrode part 2a which, having a circular cross section, penetrates it and extends linearly, and a second electrode wire 3 which constitutes a pair together wide the first electrode wire 2 and comprises a second electrode part 3a which, having a circular cross section, penetrates the thermistor element body 1, in parallel to the first electrode part 2a, extending linearly.
