PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To draw a picture and to set an exposure appropriately when a special effect of drawing the picture at bright spots included in a subject image is attained by utilizing a movement mechanism of moving the subject image relative to an image pick-up face. SOLUTION: An exposure time is decided in response to a scheduled drawing track length of the figure so that a selected figure is drawn without being broken on the way or without causing a stain or irregularity. at least one of an ISO sensitivity and a stop value is adjusted so that an appropriate exposure is obtained at the decided exposure time.
