PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information distribution system, and a railway vehicle and train information distribution method for wirelessly transmitting arbitrary text information and high-quality voice information corresponding to the text information without increasing a communication load on a train. SOLUTION: The train information distribution system comprises: a command side device 1 equipped with a means 21 for inputting the text information distributed to the train, an intermediate language creating means 24 for adjusting and creating intermediate language information convertible in corresponding read-out information based on the input text information, and a means 26 for wirelessly transmitting the text information and the intermediate language information; and a railway-vehicle side device equipped with a means 7 for receiving the information distributed by the command side device 1, a controller 10 for restoring the text information and the intermediate language information based on the received information, a means 8 for displaying and outputting the restored text information, a voice synthesizing means for performing voice synthesis using the restored intermediate language information to create the voice information, and a voice outputting means 9 for outputting the obtained voice information.
