CONTROL UNIT FOR PERMANENT MAGNET TYPE SYNCHRONOUS MOTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control unit which works with high efficiency by stabilizing a permanent magnet type synchronous motor even at a low speed.

SOLUTION: The control unit controls the terminal voltage of a motor by a power converter so as to make the armature current of the permanent magnet type synchronous motor equal to a current command value, and also to make the armature current frequency equal to a frequency command value. A current command computing device 18 generating the current command value has: an invalid power computing device 102 computing invalid power based on the terminal voltage of the motor 80 and the armature current; an invalid current command computing device 101 computing an invalid power command value based on the armature current of the motor and the frequency command value; and an integration adjuster 104 and an adder 105 for generating the current command value by using a signal subjected to amplification of deviation between the invalid power command value and the invalid power computing value.
