METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR CASE BASED MUSIC RECOMMENDATION USING CONTEXT-AWARENESS

A system and a method for case-based music recommendation are provided to understand a user's circumstances and recommend music by using the accumulated data which shows recommended music when the user inputs the user's circumstances or preferences. A system and a method for case-based music recommendation comprise the following units. An interface layer collects external situations information. A repository layer includes external situations information and at least either listening histories of a plurality of users or information about recommended songs. An application layer(130) receives the external situations information through the interface layer, selects recommended songs based on the external situations information or information stored in the repository layer, and outputs information about the recommended songs through the interface layer.
