Provided is a configuration data distribution method, which is used for solving the problem in the prior art that there is not a solution for conducting uniform configuration management on two kinds of home gateway access devices at present. The configuration data distribution method comprises: according to an identifier of an optical network unit (ONU) and an preset correlation between the identifier of the ONU and an encapsulation method for configuration data of the ONU, determining the encapsulation method for the configuration data; and encapsulating the configuration data according to the determined encapsulation method, and distributing the encapsulated configuration data to a corresponding gateway according to the encapsulation method of the ONU or the identifier of the ONU. The solution enables terminals using different gateways to be uniformly managed and configured. |
