<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device which can reduce power consumption and flicker generation and is excellent in display quality. <P>SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device includes a first substrate, a second substrate, a liquid crystal layer, a common electrode, a first driving circuit 31, a second driving circuit 32, a first switching circuit 41, and a second switching circuit 42. The first driving circuit 31 and the second driving circuit 32 output scanning signals and alternately output a first auxiliary capacitive voltage and a second auxiliary capacitive voltage.
